Summary:
This position is located in the Tyson Logansport Accounting department. The primary responsibility of this position will a Time and Attendance clerk. Supplemental duties will be assigned by management that fit within this work schedule. Work activities are variable and require judgement to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm; Some Saturday’s may be required
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 1+ years of office work preferred
Computer Skills: Minimum of basic computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel required. Must have the ability to read and complete reports and required paperwork. Knowledge of basic office equipment and business practices required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
Special Skills: Must be able to work independently with little to no direct supervision. Applicant will be expected to cross-train in other areas of the accounting department to provide vacation and sick coverage.
