  • Create accessible, user-centric designs by translating complex technical container workflows into intuitive interfaces.
  • Prototype and develop design components utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) development tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
  • Design deliverables ranging from workflows to functional components utilizing Figma Make and NotebookLM.
  • Engage directly with the open source Podman Desktop community to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
  • Build excellent relationships across cross-functional teams, serving as a proactive design advocate for developer tools.

What you will bring
  • Experience as a User Experience (UX) Designer working on complex software products or platforms (3+ years of experience).
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code alongside AI design features like Figma Make.
  • Ability to manage your projects reliably and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding user needs and creating accessible solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain your ideas to engineering and product stakeholders.

The following is considered a plus
