Contract Analyst
Job Description:
As a Contract Analyst, you will analyze and manage the contract lifecycle for government and private sector opportunities within the Transportation and Energy Business Group (TEBG). In this role, you will coordinate proposal responses, partner with cross-functional teams to develop and submit bids, evaluate contract requirements, and support contract negotiations and customer-facing contract activities for the United States and Canada transportation market.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze bid solicitations and contract opportunities for the Roadway Materials portfolio.
- Lead the coordination of bid responses across cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, lab, finance, and manufacturing.
- Plan and lead contract negotiations and document outcomes to reduce risk and improve financial results.
- Negotiate contract changes and renewals when terms require resolution or clarification.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer contract matters.
- Develop strong customer relationships to support follow-up opportunities and business growth
- Participate in, and at times lead, cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Ensure complete and accurate contract documentation in designated systems.
- Prioritize contract requests in coordination with the Regional Product Manager
- Your skills and Expertise
- Possess a bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of combined experience in contract administration, customer projects, sales and/or customer service is required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in project management
- Fluent in English with strong speaking, writing and comprehension skills.
