Project Role Description : Lead the design, build and configuration of Workday Planning application for planning, forecasting, and reporting implementation across finance and workforce domains.

Summary:
As an Application Lead for Workday Planning you will drive the end to end implementation of planning solutions including financial planning, workforce planning, forecasting and Aloocations. Your role involves leading cross functional teams ensuring seamless integration with source systems (e.g., Workday HCM, Finance, Excel) and delivering scalable planning models aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, design data models and enable real time planning and reporting capabilities, leveraging Adaptive Planning s core features such as versioning, scenario modeling and hierarchical structures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience in Planning and Forecasting.
- Should have influencing and advisory skills.
- Lead Design and Configuration of Foundation Data model and Dimensions
- Own Solution delivery including Planning model setup (bottom-up / top-down), Version Management
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Drive integration design and execution.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and translate business needs into planning models and reports.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in application development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning (Workforce and Financial Modeling).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and planning model design (driver-based, scenario planning).
- Experience with Workday application design and configuration processes.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex project issues effectively.
- Familiarity with stakeholder management and communication strategies.15 years full time education
