Position Summary

The Warranty Technician supports the processing of customer returns. This includes receiving returned products, checking them for accuracy, tracking inventory, and helping determine what should be done with each item (such as repair, return, or disposal). This role also assists with basic product checks and helps answer questions about returned items.

Job Duties

  • Review returned products to make sure they match the customer’s return request and decide next steps for handling them
  • Inspect and evaluate returned items to understand what went wrong and document findings
  • Handle and organize returned materials, including tracking older items and preparing them for disposal or repair
  • Confirm product locations, ensure records are accurate, and help coordinate movement of materials between locations
  • Perform basic product testing and adjustments as needed (training provided)
  • Enter and update information in company systems

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Any hands-on, mechanical, warehouse, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required

Qualifications

  • Interest in hands-on work and basic problem-solving
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and internal team members
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, Microsoft Office)

Working Conditions

  • Work takes place in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
