Sales Management Analyst, Europe & Africa Institutional COO (FTC)

About this role

This role is part of the COO team that sits at the centre of BlackRock’s Europe & Africa Institutional business, supporting senior leadership with clear reporting, strong coordination, and execution across key commercial priorities.

You will work closely with sales leadership and partner teams to run the business effectively day-to-day, ensuring decisions are informed by high-quality data and that key initiatives are delivered with discipline.

This is a broad, high-exposure role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

This is a fixed term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Support business governance and reporting

  • Support leadership forums and business reviews with clear, well-structured materials
  • Track actions and ensure follow-through across teams

Deliver high-quality management information

  • Produce regular reporting on business performance, pipeline and activity
  • Ensure outputs are accurate, consistent and tailored for senior audiences

Support sales execution

  • Coordinate and track sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Provide visibility on progress, risks and outcomes

Provide data-driven insight

  • Analyse pipeline and sales activity to support decision-making
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve commercial outcomes

Maintain CRM and data quality

  • Ensure pipeline and client data is accurate and up to date
  • Support adoption of consistent processes and standards

Coordinate across teams

  • Work closely with sales, product, marketing and finance teams
  • Ensure information flows clearly and deadlines are met

Drive process improvement

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve recurring processes
  • Support the use of technology and automation to increase efficiency

Skills & Experience

  • University degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of demonstrable experience in financial services or a business/sales management, or COO-type team
  • Strong Excel and data handling skills
  • Clear and structured written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and ownership mindset
  • Collaborative approach with the confidence to work across teams

Preferred

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Familiarity with institutional clients or investment products
  • Experience producing management information or business reporting
