Why This Role Matters

As a Operator IPO Technician, you’ll support the team in the Applied Physical Metrology lab at Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Luxembourg.

Your main job is to produce, vulcanize and test different materials and rubber compounds used to create new tire products and technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Mix, prepare, and test materials (like rubber and other components)
• Run lab equipment and follow testing procedures
• Make sure all safety and quality rules are followed
• Order supplies and raw materials when needed
• Help answer questions from team members about materials and test results
• Handle special requests that may need different setups
• Help improve processes and make the lab run more efficiently                                                                                                                              

What We’re looking for

• Willing to work a 3-shift schedule (no weekends/holidays)
• Experience in a lab, working with materials, or hands-on/mechanical work is a plus, but not necessarily needed
• Any technical background is a plus
• Comfortable using basic computer programs (email, Microsoft Office)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to stay organized and work independently
• Good English skills (other languages like German, French, or Luxembourgish are a bonus)
• Able to perform your daily work mainly in standing or moving position
