Strategic Partner Development Lead, Chrome and Web Ecosystems
The Chrome & Web Ecosystem Partnerships team shapes the future of agentic browsing and the open web by partnering across the ecosystem. We support Chrome’s ambitious goals across the browser in consumer growth, advertising, enterprise, identity, AI, and the broader platform ecosystem. We help Chrome deliver innovation and leadership for billions of users and partners worldwide.
In this role, you will manage Chrome & Web Ecosystem’s partnerships with leading platforms and web infrastructure providers, including CMS, CDNs, security/anti-fraud and identity providers. You core responsibility is to advance product adoption, strengthen the open web, and balance innovation with the long-term health and vibrancy of the open web.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
- Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional partnership initiatives with a significant impact on business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that align with business objectives.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms and building consensus.
