10+ years’ experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems, storage services and databases. PhD or MS in CS/EE with a very strong knowledge of C++/C , Systems Programming, Distributed Systems, data structures, algorithms and operating systems. • Expert in Database Design and decoupled compute and storage • Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), and Linux internals • Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure and/or working on open-source software/contributions to open source PSQL/MySQL/Redis/Memcached is a strong plus. • Strong problem determination, problem resolution and performance tuning skills design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
