JOB PURPOSE

PHINIA is seeking a Senior Power Platform & Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage, govern, and optimize the organization's SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments, ensuring platform health, security, compliance, and operational excellence across the enterprise.
This role partners closely with technical leads, business stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams to maintain secure, scalable, and well governed platforms that improve employee productivity, streamline business processes, enhance information access, and support PHINIA's evolving digital workplace and AI initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior administrator with strong platform management and problem solving abilities, experience supporting enterprise environments within the Microsoft ecosystem, and a passion for governance, automation, and emerging technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and optimize enterprise environments across Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft cloud services to ensure platform health, performance, and availability.
  • Develop and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and standards for SharePoint Online and Power Platform, including environment strategies, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, naming conventions, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Administer and monitor Power Platform environments, including environment provisioning, capacity planning, connector policies, solution deployment, and Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit management.
  • Manage SharePoint Online site collections, permissions, storage capacity, site provisioning, content architecture, retention policies, and site lifecycle processes across the enterprise.
  • Administer licensing and entitlement management for Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and related services, including usage tracking, license optimization, compliance monitoring, and cost analysis.
  • Support and govern AI and automation initiatives, including Copilot Studio agent management, access provisioning, usage tracking, cost allocation, and alignment with organizational AI governance standards.
  • Manage enterprise domain services, including domain registration, renewal, domain security, brand protection, and vendor coordination with domain registrars.
  • Monitor and report on platform usage, adoption, storage, security, and compliance metrics using admin centers, Power BI dashboards, and Microsoft reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure all platform configurations and administrative practices comply with organizational security, compliance, privacy, accessibility, and data governance standards, including least-privilege access and Zero Trust principles.
  • Manage permissions, access controls, conditional access policies, and identity governance across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform services in coordination with Security and Infrastructure teams.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, Infrastructure, Security, Workplace Technologies, business stakeholders, and external partners to gather requirements, evaluate platform changes, and deliver well-governed solutions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor relationships related to platform services, including contract management, invoice review, service evaluations, and renewal coordination.
  • Provide platform support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for issues across SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and related services, including legacy on-premises environments during transition periods.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing resources to support end users, citizen developers, and regional teams in the effective and compliant use of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform services.
  • Evaluate new Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, and AI capabilities and provide recommendations to support future platform governance, optimization, and adoption initiatives.
  • Support knowledge transfer, transition planning, and operational continuity processes during vendor changes, team transitions, and platform migrations.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience administering, governing, and supporting enterprise environments across Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and related technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint Online site management, permissions and access controls, storage and capacity management, tenant-level configuration, and lifecycle governance.
  • Experience managing Power Platform environments, including environment provisioning, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, connector governance, capacity planning, and Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit administration.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing models, entitlement management, usage tracking, license optimization, and cost analysis across Power Platform, SharePoint, and related services.
  • Experience managing enterprise domain services, including domain registration, renewal, DNS administration, registrar coordination, and domain security and brand protection practices.
  • Familiarity with AI governance and administration, including Copilot Studio agent management, access provisioning, usage monitoring, cost allocation, and alignment with organizational AI governance frameworks, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and identity management, including conditional access policies, least-privilege access, data loss prevention, retention policies, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Strong experience with monitoring, reporting, and analytics using Microsoft admin centers, Power BI, and platform reporting tools to track usage, adoption, storage, compliance, and platform health.
  • Experience supporting governance frameworks, policy development, and standardization efforts for enterprise collaboration and low-code platforms.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex platform and environment issues across SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and related services, including root cause analysis and performance optimization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, gather and refine requirements, and translate business needs into well-governed platform configurations and policies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while contributing to governance standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, invoicing, and service evaluations for platform related services.
  • Experience supporting platform migrations, knowledge transfer planning, and operational transition processes.
  • Experience administering legacy SharePoint on-premises environments (SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Subscription Edition) - preferred
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) -- plus
  • Power Platform Administrator Associate (PL-900/PL-200) -- plus
  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), or related Microsoft certifications -- plus
