This is a 24 hour evening shift position 3pm -1130pm alternating weekdays with one weekend a month. This position also requires alternating holidays.
Responsible for registering patients and updating information in the patient’s electronic medical record. Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that patient demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information, while providing patients and/or family members with required regulatory informational documents regarding their visit or admission.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent guest relations and telephone demeanor
- Ability to professional handle all interactions within a fast paced, hectic and emotionally charged clinical environment.
- Ability to think critically in making decisions to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Minimum two years of computer experience
- Minimum one to two years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
License/Certification: N/A

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
