Job Description
Department Summary
At Visa, the Digital Solutions team holds primary ownership and management of new Visa digital technology and capabilities (incl. Visa Token Service, Visa Digital Commerce Program, Visa Developer Platform, Tap to Phone etc.). It leads digital product commercialization programs in local markets and ensures client implementation projects progress in a structured and efficient manner through good coordination, planning and execution with Visa CEMEA Hub & Global teams, X-functional teams, technology developers, local partners, issuers, acquirers, merchants, and local regulators. The Digital Solutions team also works with partners and clients on the development of bespoke solutions for new use cases such as digital/mobile wallets, digital banks and fintechs.
The candidate will be accountable for the delivery and success of key Visa Token Service and Visa Accept initiatives. This will be achieved by managing existing projects in the pipeline and helping develop new opportunities to meet Visa’s and client’s objectives.
- Existing projects: we have a pipeline of existing Visa Accept projects as well as issuer Visa Token Service projects that has high impact on revenues - by expanding acceptance with Visa Accept and driving token usage by launching Apple Pay, Google Pay and other wallets. The candidate will be a product lead and coordinate between the client, vendors and internal stakeholders to move the solution towards launch.
- New Opportunities: collaborate with the Product Manager and Business Country teams (BDs and MS&A) to identify new opportunities based on the current client priority pipeline
- Value Added Service support on VROL and Dispute Management solutions and technical support deployment of VAS related to token enablement (VDE SDK)
The successful individual will work closely with a portfolio of enterprise level , including issuing and acquiring banks, payment gateways and merchant partners, SME, Mobile Networks and TSPs. She /he will collaborate with X-functional teams to help drive the innovation required to meet the evolving business goals of these clients and will help present Visa’s digital product vision to key customers and drive enthusiasm for early adoption of new products and feature sets. . This includes having a deep technical product understanding, supporting product sales, and project managing implementations alongside cross-functional teams. The candidate will also showcase and evangelize Visa’s eCommerce and digital products vision with key external stakeholders to build awareness and demand.
In addition, the candidate will be accountable for the delivery and success of some key digital Solutions initiatives to execute Visa’s strategy to convert cash to card. This will be achieved by managing existing projects in the pipeline and helping develop new opportunities to meet Visa’s and client’s objectives. The candidate will collaborate with the Product leads and coordinate between the client, vendors, and internal stakeholders to move the solution towards launch. In addition, the candidate will collaborate with the Product leads and Business Country teams (BDs and MS&A) to identify new opportunities based on the current client’s priority pipeline.
Qualifications
- Support in business development conversations, discuss VTS and Visa Accept propositions and benefits to client to defend Visa’s market leadership and grow activity on digital.
- Identify and develop business opportunities for Visa Digital solutions to defend Visa’s market leadership and grow volume / activity on digital channels
- Provide consulting and training to support client strategy and technical implementation of Visa digital solutions while setting & managing client expectations.
- Lead technical product discussions including requirements, customer experience, security with a high level of independence
- Manage VTS and Visa Accept projects, working closely with business and technical staff to develop and track milestones and critical timelines
- Manage communication of program status across teams and external stakeholders; escalate issues as necessary. Remove roadblocks and keep processes progressing and running smoothly
- Be the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders; Strong client-facing communication skills and technical aptitude
- Work with clients, service providers, Visa SSA Hub, CEMEA & Global Teams and regulators to ensure Visa Digital solutions to be interoperable with local industry practices
- Lead technical product discussions including requirements, customer experience, security with a high level of independence
- Work with clients to gather requirements, define solutions, and scope projects
- Manage technical projects or programs to develop, track milestones and critical timelines, while coordinating cross-functional teams, coordinating communications, and managing issues / risks ensuring successful delivery
- Support in business development conversations, help with product demos, and discuss proposition and benefits to client
- Manage communication of program status across teams and external stakeholders; escalate issues as necessary. Remove roadblocks and keep processes progressing and running smoothly
- Manage Performance tracking and data analysis and be able to put findings into actions.
- Set and manage customer expectations with regard to feature and solution availability
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders; Strong client-facing communication skills and technical aptitude

Key Knowledge Domains:
- Tokenization
- Card payment processing
- Contactless. Tap to Phone experience is a Plus.
- Enterprise project management methodology
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred
- Good knowledge in multiple areas of Visa’s digital products including Visa Token Services and 3DS
- Experience in digital product management and bringing new products to market
- Experience in a structured project management environment
- Team collaboration demonstrated by desire and willingness to share knowledge with a broader team, be receptive to new ideas and changes to the standard operational procedures
- Strong analytical skills and documentation skills
- Knowledge of bank card systems a strong plus
- A problem solver with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to evangelize a vision
- High familiarity for user experience across digital channels
- Demonstrated experience in senior management level client engagement
