Job Summary
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for adding new product features to our Data Ventures while supporting existing implementations and working with product, engineering, and business partners on new innovations.
What You Will Do
Working with the stakeholders including product, program, architects and development lead for reviewing product requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information, writing and developing code, conducting unit testing. Communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders.
Documenting and developing best practices for development, and deployment of applications, and working with members to foster growth within the team.
Participating in medium complex and cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Build high quality code by conducting unit testing and enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects.
Ensure on-time delivery and communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders.
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance.
Utilizing strong interpersonal skills in working with numerous internal teams and expand personal and team knowledge of new and upcoming products.
Contributing to all phases of the development life cycle and writing well-designed, testable, efficient code.
Troubleshooting business and production issues by gathering and evaluating information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause), to assist in the resolution of issues.
Providing support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies).
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree or master's degree with 4+ years of experience in Computer Science or related field.
Proficiency in building REST APIs and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
Experience in designing and developing enterprise solutions in Java/J2EE following multi-tier architecture
Basic understanding of Javascript & any one Front end frameworks like Typescript, React.js & Angular would be preferred.
Experience with containerization technology like Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience in any one of Testing framework is preferred.
Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools to improve development, CI/CD, and testing efficiency (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint)
Experience with Azure Cloud Stack, GCP or other cloud stacks
Knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture
Hands on knowledge with RDBMS like MySQL, Postgres.
Hands on working experience in any messaging platform like Kafka is preferred.
Constant knack of making the applications better by following the right Design Principles.
Knowledge of GraphQL APIs is an added advantage.
Ability to break down a product goal into dev deliverables.
Ability to lead our technical relationship with partners and mentor a team of developers.
