IT Associate I

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented IT Associate I to join our End User Computing team. This is an entry-level, on-site role focused on providing hands-on technical support, device provisioning, and day-to-day IT operations for internal users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • User Support: Assist users with daily tasks and common issues in Google Workspace (sharing permissions, Drive organization, and Gmail settings).
  • Provisioning: Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops and peripherals.
  • Lifecycle Management: Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation and deactivation.
  • Migration Support: Help users transition from Microsoft environments to Google Workspace tools.
  • Ticketing: Manage and resolve tickets within defined SLAs using the ITSM system.
  • Inventory: Maintain asset inventory and equipment tracking.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Google Workspace Knowledge: Solid understanding of how Google Drive, Docs, Gmail, and Calendar work from a support perspective (basic permissions and troubleshooting).
  • Hybrid Environment: Basic familiarity with Windows/O365 to assist in the migration process.
  • Language: Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills and a "customer-first" communication style.
  • Availability: Ability to work on-site full-time.

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM).
  • Familiarity with JumpCloud or other identity providers.
  • Basic exposure to Google Admin Console (resetting passwords, basic group management).
  • Previous help desk or internship experience
