Antila: Menu Annotation Contributor Croatian (Croatia)

Weloglobal · Croatia

Overview:

Welo Data is seeking native Croatian speakers to contribute to a global food delivery project. Your role will involve reviewing restaurant menu items written in Croatian and classifying each one using a standardized taxonomy in Americanized English. This work will help enhance food category recognition across diverse markets.

You will interpret menu items in Croatian and select the closest matching English category label from a searchable dropdown. Strong English comprehension is essential for navigating the taxonomy accurately.

What You Will Do:

  • Read: Review each menu item's name, category, and description written in Croatian.
  • Confirm: Check the item photo (if available) to verify the food type.
  • Classify: Assign the most accurate Dish Label from an English-language taxonomy dropdown. You can use English keywords, such as "pasta" or "grilled chicken," for quick selection.
  • Label: Select a Course Label in English (e.g., Appetizer, Main Course, Side Dish, Dessert, Beverage, Other).
  • Add Notes: Provide a brief note for items that seem unclear, ambiguous, or unusual — no row should be left blank.
