Assistant Manager - Title Marketing

About the Team:

The Title Marketing team at JioHotstar is responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for original shows and non-fiction content. The team operates in a hub-and-spoke model, working closely with internal teams such as Social, PR, Creative, Media, and Product, as well as external stakeholders including production houses, talent, and agencies.

The team focuses on building high-impact campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and viewership, while ensuring seamless execution across multiple marketing workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This role will be responsible for executing end-to-end marketing campaigns for titles, with a strong focus on operational excellence, coordination, and delivery.

In essence, this is an execution-driven role that requires attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously. It has three key dimensions:

(i) a campaign executor capable of translating strategy into high-quality, on-ground and digital execution,
(ii) an operations-focused individual who can manage workflows, timelines, and stakeholders with rigor,
(iii) a marketing professional with a basic understanding of consumer behavior and content consumption patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Planning

• Support the development and execution of marketing strategies for individual titles and franchises
• Assist in identifying the right marketing levers across talent, creators, platforms, and formats
• Translate campaign ideas into structured execution plans with clear timelines and deliverables

Campaign Execution & Operational Excellence

• Execute end-to-end title marketing campaigns across multiple workstreams with high attention to detail
• Manage operational workflows including timelines, approvals, budgets, deliverables, and documentation
• Coordinate actor/creator-led shoots and activations, including on-ground execution (logistics, styling, scheduling, coordination)
• Ensure campaigns are delivered as per defined scope, timelines, and quality standards

Cross-Functional & External Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams (Social, PR, Creative, Media, Artist Management, Legal, Production) for integrated campaign delivery
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including production houses, talent managers, creators, agencies, and vendors
• Act as a central point of coordination to ensure alignment and clarity across stakeholders

Talent & Partner Coordination

• Support collaboration with production houses and talent for campaign execution across platforms
• Assist in managing contracts, SoWs, deliverables, and usage rights in coordination with relevant teams
• Coordinate talent availability and logistics for campaign requirements

Consumer, Media & Platform Understanding

• Build an understanding of consumer preferences, viewing motivations, and content consumption behavior
• Develop a strong understanding of marketing mediums, with a focus on social media platforms and formats
• Stay updated on digital trends and emerging formats relevant to title marketing

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Track campaign progress and ensure timely reporting of performance, learnings, and outcomes
• Document campaign execution and best practices for future reference
• Manage stakeholders proactively, addressing dependencies, risks, and changes effectively

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, content marketing, campaign execution, or related roles
• Strong execution and operational management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and digital marketing workflows
• Basic understanding of consumer behavior and content consumption trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
