Assistant Manager - GCS Strategy, Digital PRS

This role closely partners with the leads on overall ads monetization of GCS Organization. This role would play a critical role in driving revenue growth through structured GTM, shaping outcomes led solutioning across Mobile, CTV and omni-channel formats, helping with deal closures & structuring high-impact deals that defines our right to win in the market. This role demands sharp strategic thinking, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and a strong client-centric mindset to help unlock revenue and meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute overall GCS annual plan by ensuring right share of wallet from the GCS portfolio with a focus on key input metrics.
  • Define and oversee growth roadmaps in the lead up to major content launches, identifying structural levers.
  • Partner with Sales to define client strategies that align with business objectives and unlock revenue across our ad products, marquee and always-on properties. 
  • Structure customized deals and packages based on platform capabilities and client needs.
  • Track the sales pipeline, manage discount guardrails, and ensure swift, seamless deal closures.
  • Support tentpole content monetization by identifying brand fitment, enabling sponsor thinking, and crafting strategic client specific pitches & packages.
  • Work cross-functionally with Content, Ops, Ad Tech and others to deliver integrated client solutions and ensure alignment between platform offerings and market demand.
    • Evangelize sales team on new ad products to ensure market adoption.
      • To conduct regular business reviews with Sales pods to evaluate performance against targets, identify revenue opportunities, and address potential shortfalls proactively.
        • Shape competitive strategy by evaluating positioning across digital, broadcast, OTT ecosystems.
        • Drive operating model optimization across revenue functions, improving accountability, planning rigor, and cross functional collaboration.

    Skills & Attributes for success

    • Deep experience in structured strategy development, hypothesis driven problem solving, and executive stakeholder management.
    • Strong financial acumen with expertise in business case development, forecasting, and investment evaluation.
    • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational altitudes, balancing long term vision with near term execution rigor.
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior cross functional teams
    • Media ecosystem exposure is preferred, though not mandatory.

    Preferred Education & Experience

    • Postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Media Studies (MBA preferred).
    • 2 to 4 years of experience across management consulting, corporate strategy, Ads sales or Strategy
