Role: Sr. Production/Application Support Engineer

Description:
Should have worked as Support Engineer for more than 5 years in Banking Domain Applications/Production
Manage and resolve technical support tickets of L1 & L2
Partner with the Business and Vendor team to prioritize support tickets.
Write Unix/Linux/Windows commands
Facilitate effective and proactive communications with both internal and external customers.
Test product-level functionality and new releases. Identify and communicate areas for improvement.
Serve as the technical expert for Banking Application.
Manage software upgrades on scheduled dates.
Serve as a primary contact for our client's IT department.
Troubleshoot network, database, and software problems for client implementations.
Configure system settings and options, and execute unit/integration/acceptance testing.
Create rules and data transfer mappings using SQL query.
Select, update, and insert SQL queries for generating reports and databases.
Data definition, data manipulation, data control, and transactional control
Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups
Knowledge of using Command Prompt and its commands.
Present technical overview of software applications and technical requirements to clients when planning upgrades.
Manage setup of technical environment for hosted clients.
Should have knowledge on ITIL process and tools like ServiceNow
Work with Help Desk personnel to resolve client installation issues.
