Vice President - Agency Partnerships, GCS

We are looking for a senior, strategic leader to head Agency Partnerships within the GCS (Growth Customer Sales) business at JioStar. This role will own the agency ecosystem end-to-end—driving scaled revenue through network and independent agencies, shaping GTM strategy, and building JioStar into a preferred growth partner for emerging brands.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, and the ability to influence senior agency leadership while building a high-performing team.

What you will do:

  • Agency Ecosystem Strategy & Leadership: Define and lead the overall agency strategy for GCS across network and independent agencies. Build a scalable engagement model that unlocks long-tail growth via agency partnerships.
  • Revenue Ownership & Scale: Own and deliver agency-led revenue targets across regions and client segments. Drive predictable, scalable revenue through structured pipeline management, portfolio expansion, and cross-platform monetization.
  • Strategic Partnerships & GTM: Build and institutionalize long-term partnerships with key agency groups. Lead joint business planning, co-create GTM narratives, and position JioStar as a core growth platform across digital, sports, and entertainment offerings. 
  • New Customer Acquisition via Agencies: Unlock new advertiser segments by leveraging agency networks. Drive adoption of JioStar solutions among growth and emerging brands through structured programs and incentives.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of ADs and KAMs. Build strong execution rigor, commercial discipline, and consultative selling capabilities across the team.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the agency ecosystem—bringing in competitive insights, client needs, and product gaps. Influence internal product, marketing, and monetization teams to strengthen platform-market fit.
  • Cross-functional Influence: Work closely with sales, Product, Marketing,and Content teams

What we are looking for:

  • 12-15+ years of experience in digital/media sales, with significant exposure to agency ecosystems
  • Strong relationships with network agencies and independent agency leaders
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing large-scale revenue charters
  • Experience in building GTM strategies and scaling new business lines is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership presence with experience managing senior agency stakeholders
  • Deep expertise in digital advertising, performance marketing, and platform monetization
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market opportunities into scalable revenue models
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity and build from zero to scale
