Executive Assistant - Trust & Safety and Government Affairs

Spotify is seeking an Executive Assistant within the Public Affairs Team to serve as a strategic partner to the Global Head of Trust & Safety and VP of Government Affairs and Public Policy. This role is a balancing act: managing the day-to-day tasks of any phenomenal EA - leading all aspects of schedules, preparing for meetings, and coordinating events - in addition to adjacent work like handling sensitive information, building relationships with key members of the company, taking on special projects, and proactively solving problems large and small. This is a highly visible position with exposure to key internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex and fast-moving calendars across multiple time zones, helping leaders stay focused on the highest-impact work
  • Prepare for meetings by building agendas, gathering materials, and capturing clear notes and next steps
  • Coordinate team meetings, trainings, and internal events, ensuring everything runs smoothly end-to-end
  • Lead logistics for external events, working closely with travel, IT, and venue partners
  • Support inbox management, including prioritizing messages, drafting responses, and tracking follow-ups
  • Keep track of key priorities, projects, and deadlines, acting as a central point of coordination for the team
  • Arrange business travel, including flights, accommodations, and detailed itineraries
  • Manage expense reporting and review team expenses in line with internal policies
  • Take on special projects and improve workflows that help the team operate more effectively
  • Represent Spotify in interactions with guests and external partners with professionalism and care
  • Who You Are

  • You have 7+ years of experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • You are experienced in handling sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
  • You communicate clearly and thoughtfully, both in writing and in person
  • You are highly organized and know how to manage multiple priorities without losing track of details
  • You build strong working relationships across teams and with external partners
  • You are comfortable working across different workstreams and connecting the dots between them
  • You take initiative and look for ways to solve problems before they escalate
  • You manage your time well and adjust quickly as priorities shift
  • You are experienced with tools like Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Slides), and collaboration tools such as Slack
  • You are open to occasional travel as needed
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and bring a steady, reliable approach to your work

  • This role is based in New York, NY or Washington, DC
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings and events, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
