We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment at our Daniels Health site in Easton, PA. This role involves servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment, including robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers, and other facility systems critical to medical waste processing operations. Travel and occasional short-notice support for emergency maintenance at regional sites are required.

After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers.
What you will do?
Perform daily maintenance of production equipment
Troubleshoot, service, and repair electro-mechanical systems on-site
Communicate with Service and Engineering teams for parts, scheduling, and support
Assemble, align, and install equipment upgrades within timeline and budget
Coordinate downtime with Plant Managers for maintenance activities
Provide weekly reports on completed and pending tasks
Offer remote assistance to plants to restore production quickly
Maintain Washsmart inventory at each location in collaboration with plant management
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
Strong mechanical experience with assemblies and production equipment
Welding skills for basic repair work
Electrical troubleshooting and repair capabilities
Ability to diagnose and communicate PLC-controlled machine issues
Experience with boilers
Willingness to travel and respond to emergency maintenance needs
Nice-To-Have Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical waste processing or similar regulated environments
Experience with autoclaves
Knowledge of inventory management systems such as MaintainX
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Work Environment
This role entails 24/7 emergency monitoring of boiler systems and requires someone who is capable and willing to respond to emergency maintenance situations – even on nights and weekends
Typical work week is Monday – Friday, but maintenance may be required on evenings or weekends
