We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Holder to join our team. The Key Holder will be responsible for managing the store during scheduled shifts, opening and closing the store, handling cash and credit card transactions, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our valued customers. This role also serves as the Visual Lead, responsible for maintaining an organized, compelling, and brand-aligned sales floor.
What you get to do every day:
Key Holder Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in opening and closing the store
Ensure the store is properly secured and alarm systems are functioning correctly
Manage cash and credit card transactions, and perform daily cash reconciliations
Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular inventory audits, and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
Provide exceptional customer service, and assist customers with their purchases, product inquiries, and returns/exchanges
Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store appearance
Assist in the execution of and ensure daily tasks are completed
Train and mentor new team members
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
Visual Lead Responsibilities
Update the sales floor based on inventory levels and direction from the Visual Team
Upload bi-weekly store photos
Ensure all inventory is represented on the sales floor
Maintain visual display packaging locations and organization
Communicate new arrival locations to the team
Complete Store Flips with seasonal inventory changes
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
What you bring to the role:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer skills, and experience with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with associates and customers
Ability to remain standing for up to 5 hours at a time
Ability to move about the store coaching and directing associates; selling to customers and retrieving merchandise from stockroom or sales floor
Ability to grab, reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch to retrieve and replenish merchandise from stockroom or sales floor
Ability to lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and/or move merchandise
Ability to operate a computer, POS system, keyboards, merchandise scanners and mouse to accomplish work
Must have a flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
