Senior Executive -Entertainment Ad Sales

JOB SUMMARY
This role focuses on achieving revenue and growth targets for advertisers in the assigned category.  You will be part a team of front liners, while building strong relationships with advertisers and agencies, and delivers customized solutions across JioStar . The role also expands JioStar client base and strengthens its position as the go-to partner for innovative advertising solutions.

  • This team consists of individuals with a mix of sales, strategy and execution across TV .
     
    KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
     
  • This is an individual contributor role where you will own the revenue targets for key accounts within the Entertainment Business in a specific industry under the portfolio. The focus will be on maximizing revenue potential and positioning JioStar.
  • You will be Jiostar’s ambassador in the market for the accounts you own.
  • You will be expected to understand India’s Linear ecosystem, stay abreast with industry trends and innovations along with establishing and demonstrating an understanding of JioStar’s ad solutions and capabilities
  • You will be expected to maintain a healthy sales pipeline on a regular basis; be proactive in highlighting any roadblocks and maintain high standards in sales processes
  • You will be expected to manage all stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision
  • You will also be focusing on deeper client interactions to drive case studies, client interviews, executing joint business plans & maintaining monthly run rates etc.
  • You will work closely with the cross functional ads revenue team for the conceptualization & execution of all deals for your accounts

    SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS & PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Understanding Key account management principles/consultative selling Should be both a category & a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets. Excellent interpersonal &communication skills. Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations at deal level. Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network, and have effective negotiations, and utilizing these to drive new business. Persistence to drive sales from exploration to deal closures.
  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years in a fast-paced industry; with solid understanding of TV landscape.
