With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
The team’s scope includes platforms products for Google data centers, which encompass computation and storage solutions, accelerators, including TPU and GPU-based supercomputers and high-speed interconnect solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible to empower Google's innovation and global services by serving as the essential quality gatekeeper and release driver, delivering flawless, scalable, and performant platforms system software from NPI to production through robust and automated infrastructure.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development in C++, GO, or Python.
- 3 years of experience across testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience with test automation development.
- Experience with test infrastructure development, supporting software system launch and ongoing development.
- Ability to have a strong sense of product quality, system software and large-scale software release.
- Excellent problem-solving, consulting and organizational skills.
