This is an in-office position in McLean, Virginia.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties
  • Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
  • Work with bookkeeping software
  • Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients
  • Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about Accounting and general office operations
  • Intern will work on Expensify project and year-end related tasks

Qualifications:          

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Accounting degree program or related fields
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to perform multi-tasks
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
