Antenna Design Engineer, Wearables

As Antenna Design Engineer, you will be part of our hardware design team building amazing Pixel wearable products. In this role, you will design, optimize, and validate the antenna solutions across different wireless technologies (Cellular 3G/4G/5G, GNSS, Satellite Communication, WiFi/Bluetooth, UWB). You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with talented cross-functional teams in designing and manufacturing industry leading hardware products that users truly enjoy.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $190000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience using radio frequency(RF) test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol and signaling testers) and antenna anechoic chamber, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Antenna, RF or Electromagnetics.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools for data collection/analysis.
  • Experiences of driving new technologies in the domain of RF, electromagnetics and wireless communication.
  • Familiarity with schematic creation and PCB design/review tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FCC, IC, CE, etc.) and their respective certification process.
  • Familiarity with cellular industry standards and specs (e.g. 3GPP, CTIA, PTCRB, WiFi alliance, etc.) with excellent communication and documentation skills.
