Validation Engineering Manager, Google Cloud

In the R&D lab, you design test equipment for prototypes of our machinery and develop the protocols used to scale these tests for the entire global team. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience leading or managing a team.
- 8 years of experience in data center testing, planning, execution, or reporting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in working cross-functionally across multiple domains and products.
- Experience delivering product verification and validation testing across multiple product lines.
- Experience with leadership.
- Experience scripting and automating various test plans.
- Experience discovering systemic issues and debugging.
