Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Successful completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT and/or NMTCB)
Must obtain the Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License before the start date
CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine
1 year of Nuclear Medicine Experience
Additional Information:
Responsibiliities:
Acquires general nuclear medicine and PET/CT images.
Reviews images for accuracy and processes for medical interpretation.
Maintains the daily workflow in the Nuclear Medicine and PET departments.
Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, and physicians through written and verbal communication.
Prepares the patient for assigned procedures (e.g., establishes IV access, administers radiopharmaceuticals, and adjunct medications).
Performs other duties as required.
