L&D Specialist Europe & India
Who We Are
At Platform Science, we’re working to connect everything that moves. Founded in 2015, we are an open IoT platform that partners with innovative fleets, application developers, vehicle manufacturers, and equipment providers in the transportation industry to deliver revolutionary solutions to supply chain professionals across the globe.
Our employees are an engaging, diverse group of people who believe in the power of great ideas. We hire people with different experiences and perspectives to build a company culture that fuels growth through innovation. We value thoughtful actions and empathy for others. We approach challenges with resiliency and creativity, while encouraging transparency because, no matter our backgrounds, we are one team.
About the Role
This is a newly created, standalone L&D role operating across a geographically distributed SaaS business of approximately 300 employees. You will have end-to-end ownership of learning and development activity — from designing and facilitating manager effectiveness programmes to maintaining the integrity of training records across all jurisdictions.
The primary focus is building and embedding a performance-oriented management culture. As a standalone role, you will work without a team beneath you, requiring both the strategic mindset to set priorities and the hands-on capability to deliver them personally.
Essential Responsibilities
-
People Development: Design and deliver a Manager Effectiveness Programme focused on performance accountability, situational leadership, and cross-cultural communication between Europe and India.
-
Coaching & Facilitation: Facilitate live training sessions (virtual and in-person) and lead structured follow-up touchpoints like peer learning circles to ensure training is applied to real-world performance conversations.
-
LMS & Record Management: Act as the primary owner for training records across all geographies. Ensure the LMS is accurate, produce completion reports for the HR Director, and manage queries from external auditors.
-
Toolkit Creation: Build and maintain a practical "Manager Toolkit" (feedback frameworks, documentation templates, etc.) that resources leaders in the moment, not just during training events.
-
Global Collaboration: Work closely with the Global L&D team to curate content and retire legacy materials, ensuring alignment with global strategy while meeting local EU/India needs.
Experience & Qualifications
-
Experience: 5 to 7 years in a People Development or L&D role, ideally within an international SaaS or tech environment.
-
Expertise: Proven track record in facilitating programs on Feedback, Performance, and Leadership with multi-country operational exposure.
-
Technical Skills: Prior experience with LMS platforms and a deep understanding of coaching methodologies (certification is a major plus).
-
Mindset: A "self-starter" who can manage end-to-end logistics (scheduling, tracking) while maintaining a high-level strategic impact.
-
Languages: Professional fluency in English, Dutch, and French is mandatory.
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or a related field.
Benefits
The company offers a comprehensive package to regular, full-time employees in Belgium:
