Position Summary
Partner closely with the AI to Transform Care (AITC) Strategy & Ops Lead to build and maintain a structured, transparent, and strategically aligned AI solutions portfolio - ensuring AITC projects are clearly defined, managed, and tracked – delivering measurable impact to patients, healthcare professional and healthcare systems. As the AITC team manage multiple high-priority initiatives, this role will serve as a critical link between strategy and execution, ensuring that the overall portfolio remains coherent, aligned, and deliverable in practice.
Beyond portfolio oversight and reporting, the role holder is also expected to support selected flagship AITC solutions – serving as an internal accelerator to remove barriers, sharpen narratives, and drive delivery momentum where required.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Architecture & Oversight: Own and continuously refine a comprehensive, up-to-date overview of all AI solutions developed and deployed across AITC. Ensure initiatives are clearly scoped, defined, and mapped to AITC's strategic priorities and AI30 objectives – maintaining a single source of truth for the portfolio that leadership can rely on for decision-making.
Strategic Prioritization & Investment Decisions: Support the AITC LT in prioritizing initiatives across the portfolio – balancing strategic value with resource availability and ability to deliver. Provide structured analysis and recommendations to inform go/no-go decisions, resource allocation, and sequencing of programs.
Performance & Impact Measurement: Work closely with program leads to define and track benefits realization plans for each AI solution – ensuring that expected clinical, operational, and commercial outcomes are clearly articulated, measured, and reported. Connect portfolio outcomes to AITC's KPI framework and AI30 scorecard metrics.
Governance & Portfolio Reviews: Design and run the AITC portfolio governance process, including regular portfolio review forums with the LT. Prepare portfolio-level materials for internal governance, EAI LT engagement, and strategic planning cycles. Ensure decision-making across the portfolio is structured, consistent, and well-documented.
Interdependency & Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage interdependencies, resource conflicts, and delivery risks across the portfolio. Work with program leads and functional partners to resolve issues before they affect delivery timelines or strategic commitments.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio-level visibility across AITC – synthesizing complex, multi-program information into clear, accessible updates for the LT, EAI leadership, and cross-functional partners. Translate portfolio data into strategic narratives that reinforce AITC's value and progress.
Strategic Solutions Support: Act as an embedded strategic partner to project leads driving high-priority AITC solutions — helping to unblock barriers, sharpen project narratives, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and drive momentum where external visibility or internal alignment is needed.
