Impact


The IT Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing the lifecycle of the company’s IT hardware assets. This includes maintenance of hardware assets to ensure optimal use and compliance with company policies and industry standards

Key Deliverables

Reporting into the Sr. Manager/AVP of IT Operations, the role will be responsible for

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware assets including laptops desktops servers and peripherals
  • Maintain detailed records of asset lifecycle events including acquisition deployment maintenance and disposal
  • Ensure all hardware assets comply with company policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements. Generate regular reports on asset status utilization and lifecycle costs for management review
  • Handle comprehensive IT Hardware Asset Management tasks including processing follow on tasks in ServiceNow for receiving and lifecycle activities, managing End of Life tasks to ensure assets remain within publisher announced EOL dates, and working with product owners and vendors to provide for complete asset records.
  • Help develop or create IT asset management procedures
  • Analyze data across asset classes, ensuring accurate reporting, and implement remediation where required

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills):

Functional Skills:

  • Strong organizational and to maintain the accuracy of the inventory Excellent communication
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools Hands on experience and knowledge on using
  • ServiceNow HAM and CMDB Knowledge of IT hardware lifecycle management Ability to work
  • independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred
  • Certification in IT Asset Management eg ITIL V4 IAITAM Certified ServiceNow Admin CSM
  • Experience with IT service management ITSM tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Current certifications with ServiceNow:

    ServiceNow Administrator

    ServiceNow Certified Hardware Asset Manager

    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

Education Requirements
 

  • Education Any Bachelors degree  or a related field
  • Experience Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in IT asset management or a related role Skills

Relationships & Collaboration

HAM continuously Work closely with IT, Security. Legal and Engineering teams to enhance SAM Processes and Identify improvement opportunities.
