Role Summary:

As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager at PatSnap, you will own and scale the digital engine that drives pipeline across our R&D, Life Sciences, and IP verticals. This is a highly visible, high-impact individual contributor role with full accountability for digital performance spanning paid acquisition, organic growth, and the infrastructure that underpins it.

You will be responsible for building and optimizing a demand generation engine that consistently delivers qualified traffic, demo requests, and product-led growth. From paid search and LinkedIn campaigns to SEO, GEO, and intent-driven targeting, you will turn strategy into execution, and execution into measurable pipeline.

This role goes beyond campaign management. You will define how digital marketing operates at PatSnap: shaping channel strategy, owning performance targets, and ensuring our marketing data, attribution, and tech stack are built to support scale. As the owner of demand generation, you’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, partnering closely with the Head of Marketing, content, events, and sales while setting the standard for what great digital looks like.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in that level of ownership - an experienced B2B SaaS marketer who can both execute at a high level and build the systems, insights, and strategy that drive sustained growth in a fast-moving, AI-native company.

This is a hybrid position in our Downtown Toronto office with the expectation to work from the office on Wednesdays. You are welcome to work out of the office more often if you wish!

What You'll be Doing:

  • Own and execute PatSnap’s digital marketing strategy across paid search, paid social (LinkedIn), SEO, and emerging GEO channels.
  • Build, launch, and optimize end-to-end paid campaigns, including targeting, messaging, budget allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Drive pipeline growth by converting digital traffic into qualified leads, demo requests, and product-led signups.
  • Lead SEO and GEO efforts to ensure strong visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
  • Develop and scale LinkedIn campaigns targeting senior decision-makers across R&D, Life Sciences, and IP functions.
  • Partner with content, video, and product marketing teams to ensure assets are built and optimized for performance across channels.
  • Leverage intent data to identify in-market accounts and inform targeting and campaign strategy.
  • Continuously analyze campaign performance, run experiments, and translate insights into clear optimization actions.
  • Own HubSpot campaign setup, tracking, lead scoring, workflows, and attribution reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data flow between HubSpot and Salesforce, maintaining clean pipeline visibility for marketing and sales.
  • Maintain and evolve the marketing tech stack, identifying gaps and recommending tools that support scale and data quality.
  • Establish and uphold best practices in data hygiene, attribution, and reporting to support confident decision-making.
  • About You:

  • 5–7+ years of digital marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment, with clear ownership of pipeline-driving programs.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable outcomes across the funnel, including traffic, demos, trials, and revenue.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and SEO. You’ve built and optimized campaigns from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and the ability to turn data into actionable insights and strategy.
  • Experience optimizing digital content and video for engagement and conversion.
  • Familiarity with GEO and how brands surface in AI-driven search and LLM-powered discovery.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Salesforce, with a solid understanding of marketing-to-sales data flow and attribution.
  • Experience using intent data to inform targeting and demand generation strategies.
  • Strong opinions on martech stack and experience evaluating tools to improve performance and scalability.
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to translate complex performance data into insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating as a highly autonomous individual contributor in a fast-paced, evolving, global environment.
  • Nice to Haves:

  • Experience marketing to R&D, Life Sciences, or IP/legal audiences.
  • Familiarity with platforms like 6sense, Bombora, or similar intent data tools.
  • Experience in a high-growth or scale-up SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) models and freemium conversion strategies.
  • What You'll Love:

  • 5 weeks paid vacation
