Job Responsibilities
• Overseeing production; developing and monitoring production processes and metrics
• Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 requirements in the production area
• Developing, planning, implementing, and monitoring corrective actions, with particular attention to customer complaints, including setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities, as well as contributing to the preparation of 8D reports
• Maintaining communication with related departments
• Participating in projects aimed at improving productivity and utilization, and continuously identifying potential technical improvements (OEE%, labor efficiency, FTP%)
• Participation in the APQP process (new products, new production lines), involvement in the handover and launch of new lines/products, and the management, planning, and execution of internal projects related to production
• Participation in the development and operation of a production-related training system, management of training metrics (cross-training, competency development)
• Developing manufacturing processes using Lean and Kaizen tools in close collaboration with the Lean Specialist (Lean philosophy, 5S)
• Coordinating production-related EHS tasks and development opportunities, actively participating in the implementation and operation of GSSF elements
• Coordinating the achievement of 5S goals
• Monitors machine utilization and coordinates cleaning and maintenance tasks related to the machines (production technicians); consults with and collaborates with the Maintenance Manager as needed
• Manages and optimizes inventory control and material flow processes in production area warehouses
• Act as the cost center manager for the assigned areas, closely monitoring expenses associated with each production area and ensuring the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and machinery
• Implementing preventive and corrective measures related to troubleshooting and error prevention in the production area
• Ensuring and supervising the implementation of production plans while adhering to occupational safety regulations, as well as achieving quality, quantity, and efficiency indicators (optimizing the reduction of overtime, raw material inventory, finished product inventory, and downtime)
• Introducing or implementing preventive and corrective measures related to troubleshooting and error prevention
• Supporting factory-level layout planning
• Managing and supporting shift supervisors and Production Quality Assurance Technicians, defining priorities for the area, and coordinating tasks
• Ensuring structured communication and information flow between different shifts
• Developing subordinates and managing their performance
• Any additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager.
