In this role, you will ensure the flawless operation of hardware systems like AI computers, networking gear, and data storage from the initial concept through end-of-life.

You will collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing partners to build quality into every stage of product development, establish processes, and track and resolve field issues. Your position requires an in-depth understanding of modern data center hardware, including design, manufacturing, and testing. You should be a proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will also require excellent communication and data analysis skills for driving product decisions and presenting to executive leaders.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Reliability/Quality Engineer (CRE/CQE) certification or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, product engineering of cloud hardware technology or electronic hardware systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or other relevant engineering fields.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams using a practical and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience with manufacturing and field issue debug, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Experience with advanced statistical (or statistics-based) methodologies (e.g., design of experiments, statistical process controls, six sigma, etc.).
  • Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication.
