Supplier Quality Engineer, Semiconductor
The Global Hardware Quality and Reliability (GHQR) team is under the Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) team, responsible for components and solutions.
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, Semiconductor, you will join the team responsible for setting and managing the quality and reliability standards for our semiconductor components across Google. You will have extensive involvement in the tools and techniques used to assess product quality and reliability. You will sift through data and use it to drive design or manufacturing process improvements.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing as a semiconductor manufacturing, product, test, or customer quality engineer.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 10 years of experience in quality, reliability, or semiconductor IC technology.
- Experience working with vendors and contract manufacturers, and auditor experience in quality management systems, fab, assembly, or test.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, including experience with bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD), multi-chip-module (MCM), and CMOS planar technology.
- Knowledge of passive (RLC) components commodities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
