In this role, you will be responsible for enabling Android ecosystem partners to quickly launch immersive products using certified system designs and manufacturing solutions. You will ensure all key components, modules, and reference designs are fully validated with manufacturing readiness to scale with partners in the Android XR ecosystem.

You will develop manufacturing solutions to support Android ecosystem new hardware product introduction across eyewear and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners. You will require developing and leveraging reference line manufacturing solutions. You will enable partners to leverage Android XR system designs and platform software to ensure reliability and quality while accelerating time to market for physical designs built from stable reference designs and manufacturing processes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$298,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
  • 15 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Product Engineering for hardware technology and systems.
  • Experience in debug, troubleshooting, and failure analysis investigation.
  • Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication.
  • Experience with consumer electronic manufacturing technologies in the areas of design, process, commodity cost, factory cost, supply and quality management.
  • Experience delivering hardware projects.
