We are looking for a Production Operator to follow safe operating practices when operating machine, by ensuring guarding is in place and follow works instructions. Operate the machine, or machine section, in a safe manner ensuring overall machine output, waste and quality targets are achieved. To operate in team environment driving execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain high levels of housekeeping in department.
· Operate machine to target output and waste levels and use digital
transformation (OSI/ MES)
· Participate in problem solving to ensure machine uptime is maximised.
· Ensure that all products are produced to specification with minimal
variability, using the Quality Management System.
· Record quality information on prescribed documentation.
· Assist with change over’s on machines.
· Record production and delay data on prescribed documentation.
· Maintain asset condition and address/escalate technical issues
· Verify process settings and optimise as necessary using P2030
principles
· Drive continuous improvement on the asset.
· Comply to operator standard work
· Able to operate across any of the Personal Care assets
You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 or relevant N3.
Knowledge & experience in on high speed FMCG Manufacturing Equipment
Basic Technical Knowledge
Minimum 3 months acting exposure as a Machine Operator and signed off competent.
Minimum 3 years' experience in an operational environment
Problem solving ability.
As part of the interview process individual performance, attendance, KC ways of working and practical assessment will be assessed.
Computer & Digital data Literate (MES/ OSI PI/ PASS)
Applicant to be signed off in at least three of the following areas on the Asset:
Packaging
Fluff end
Mid
Mez
