Hybrid (two days a week in the office)

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Lead Strategic Access Improvement Initiatives: Identify barriers to patient access and design, implement, and monitor enterprise-wide solutions that enhance operational efficiency, patient experience, and provider satisfaction
Thrive Complex Project Execution & Change Management: Apply structured methodologies to lead cross-functional projects, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure successful implementation of new technologies, workflows, and vendor partnerships
Leverage Data & Business Analysis for Decision-Making: Conduct and lead data-driven analyses to inform access strategies, develop value cases, and track performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals and ROI
Constructs and/or Leads Data Analysis: Ensures efficient data collection, making appropriate analytical choices and summarizing conclusions and recommendations
Foster Collaboration Across a Matrixed Health System: Build strong relationships with clinical departments, IT, and administrative leaders to gain buy-in, facilitate change, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a senior project manager/consultant for Access and Innovation, UW Medicine
Lead implementation of new technology and tools related to patient access including design of work plans, workflows, contracts/pricing and related vendor management tools
Project Expense Management (Budget)
Analytics & Resource Allocation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field AND six to eight years of demonstrated success in a consulting capacity in a related healthcare, hospital, or ambulatory setting to include:
Five years of Healthcare and Patient Access related experience
Five years of Project Management and Change Management experience
Five years of Epic experience
Five years of Ambulatory experience
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
