Your Role: Commercial Operations Manager will manage daily operations of assigned network(s) and staff with accountability for producing quality product with minimal discrepancies and maximum revenue retention.  Provide local leadership, support, and expertise for the team while acting as the primary liaison between offices. 


Your Role Accountabilites

Manage daily operations of assigned network(s) including/not limited to:   

  • Inventory oversight, log production and QC, issue resolution (sales, programming, promo, etc) 
  • Ensure process and workflow compliance 
  • Responsible for ensuring all network tasks are assigned, covered and/or completed 
  • Primary point of contact for sales, P&P, Programming, Broadcast, and O&O  

Manage non-exempt staff (direct reports) 

  • Monitor performance and output, providing support, direction and intervention when needed 
  • Act as a resource for staff, providing training, skill development, coaching and feedback 
  • Lead team meetings, cascade company and department information to staff, support organizational objectives  

Local leadership (MX) 

  • Primary contact for local issues including/not limited to: facilities concerns/changes, office activities and events, US visitor POC (access, badges, workstations, meetings, agendas) 
  • Primary contact for local partners, escalating to or including director as needed 
  • Communication link between offices 
  • Serve as subject matter expert proposing system enhancements and initiatives.  Understands systems, processes and workflows and the ‘whys’.  
  • Act as a back-up for director by providing reporting, insights, solutions and strategic input.  

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates must be at the Analyst level or higher to be considered for this opportunity. 
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and proven experience in Commercial Operations functionalities  including log editing, processes, workflows, ad sales procedures and inventory management 
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource management, leadership, and staff development 
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills with ability to prioritize and delegate tasks 
  • Must exhibit creative problem-solving skills and ability to work synergistically with other departments 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong organization skills, time management and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work within time constraints and exhibit flexibility in work hours based on business needs and seasonal demands including after-hours coverage 
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Actively pursues skill development and continuous personal and professional growth 
  • Strong team player with a growth mindset to move the team and business forward
