Program Management Ford Champ

As a Program Management Ford Champ, you will be responsible of support the planning and execution of vehicle programs across multiple functions, including Engineering, Studio, Manufacturing, and Suppliers. This role will play a key part in ensuring program alignment, tracking execution, and maintaining visibility of deliverables, timelines, and risks.
This role will contribute to the ongoing development and sustainment of a Jira-based Program Management operating system, helping improve tracking, reporting, and overall execution efficiency.
What you´ll do:
- Support planning and execution of programs and projects across multiple departments
- Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items and follow-ups
- Monitor program performance and generate reports on progress and key metrics
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for optimization
- Support development and maintenance of program timing plans (Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira)
- Maintain and enhance the Jira-based Program Management system, including updating tasks, tracking execution and ownership, developing dashboards and reporting views, and implementing process/tool improvements
- Assist in preparation of executive presentations (PowerPoint)
- Support business case development and cost tracking
- Coordinate with Engineering, Studio, Suppliers, and Manufacturing teams
- Assist in preparing for key meetings.
What you´ll need:
- Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Software, Industrial, Systems, etc.)
- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Technical & Project Savvy: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with exposure to (or interest in) Jira, MS Project, structured data management, and dashboard reporting.
- Analytical Mindset: Prior internship or academic project experience in project coordination, data tracking, or process improvement (Lean/Agile).
- Agility & Drive: Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
