Product Manager - Tech, SMGS Ops - Sales Planning & Policy

AWS’s Sales Planning & Compensation (SPC) team provides the data, technology, products, tools, and processes to support the rapidly growing world-wide AWS Sales organization. This includes finding inventive ways to scale the business and drive revenue impacting initiatives which will be critical for AWS to continue its incredible growth.

The SPC team is looking for a results-driven, customer-focused, and innovative Product Manager to work directly a team of engineers to develop products and solutions that allow the entire AWS Sales team go to market and grow revenue.

You will lead key work streams such as strategic planning, roadmap development, stakeholder and customer engagement, business requirements management, leadership reviews, user testing, and launch strategy and execution. You will work directly with a talented team of cross-functional Engineering teams, Global Sales Operations, and other Application Owners across the WWRO organization. You will also be responsible for working with other teams across AWS to identify opportunities for collaboration and product integration. You will have the ability to lead these projects end to end. Our team is experimental, customer-obsessed, data-driven, and we have fun doing it!

Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders from Global AWS Sales and Sales Operations teams and other System and Application teams across SPC. Lead document development for leadership reviews.
Define and management product roadmap.
Capture, document, and communicate business requirements.
Translate requirements into features and user stories. Ensure technical team understanding of requirements.
Manage technical build against business requirements.
Own project status updates to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
Plan and conduct user testing.
Develop and execute launch plan (communications, training, user resources, etc.)
Drive change management and adoption of solution across AWS Sales and Sales Operations
Manage post-launch activities (user support, new feature development, etc.)
Establish KPIs, model performance metrics, identify analytical gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the platform.
Deep dive problems or opportunity areas and propose solutions to address.
Generate new ideas to drive improvement, efficiency and automation across AWS Sales that will enable AWS to scale and grow.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.- Master's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
