Commercial Product Manager, Senior
Job Description
As the world works and lives faster, FIS is leading the way. Our fintech solutions touch nearly every market, company and person on the planet. Our teams are inclusive and diverse. Our colleagues work together and celebrate together. If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?
About the Role
This is not a typical product role.
As a Commercial Product Manager Senior, you will help define the future of fraud prevention and digital identity—working with one of the largest and richest financial data sets in the world to deliver next-generation solutions across identity, onboarding, and real-time fraud decisioning.
You will lead the shift from fragmented point solutions to AI-native, agent-driven platforms—where intelligent agents continuously assess identity, monitor behavior, and act in real time to stop fraud before it happens.
This role sits at the intersection of fraud, identity, data, and AI, including collaboration with leading AI innovators such as our public partnership with Anthropic, as we bring advanced agent capabilities into real-world financial systems.
A defining aspect of this role is leveraging FIS’s partner ecosystem—working closely with industry leaders such as Socure, Sardine, and other best-in-class providers—to shape a unified strategy that maximizes the strengths of both FIS and its partners.
Your mission: stop fraud earlier, establish trust faster, and reduce friction for legitimate customers—while combating increasingly sophisticated threats like account takeover, identity fraud, social engineering, and payment scams.
This is a rare opportunity to:
- Work with unmatched financial and identity data at global scale
- Shape how AI agents are deployed in real-time fraud systems
- Influence build vs. buy strategy across a global platform and partner network
- Deliver solutions that any financial institution can adopt—whether or not they run on FIS core systems
What You Will Be Doing
Define the Future of Fraud & Identity (Strategy & Vision)
- Own a cohesive product strategy across digital identity, onboarding, and fraud prevention
- Define how AI agents and autonomous decisioning systems transform fraud detection and identity confidence
- Establish a unified fraud and identity strategy that strengthens every FIS product and extends beyond core platforms
- Translate evolving fraud patterns into scalable, explainable, and high-performing solutions
Leverage the Ecosystem (Build vs. Buy Leadership)
- Own build vs. buy vs. partner decisions across fraud and identity capabilities
- Partner deeply with leading vendors such as Socure, Sardine, and others to shape joint strategy and roadmap alignment
- Identify where FIS should differentiate vs. orchestrate, maximizing the value of the broader ecosystem
- Ensure FIS delivers a best-in-class, integrated stack, not just standalone products
Build AI-Native, Agent-Driven Systems
- Design and deliver agent-based workflows that continuously evaluate identity risk and fraud signals
- Partner with engineering, data science, and AI partners (including Anthropic) to operationalize production-grade agent capabilities
- Move beyond static rules to adaptive, learning systems that evolve with emerging threats
- Ensure every decision is transparent, explainable, and operationally actionable
Drive Measurable Outcomes Through Data
- Define and track success across fraud loss reduction, approval rates, customer friction, and operational efficiency
- Enable continuous experimentation (A/B testing, model tuning, agent refinement)
- Improve signal quality and decision precision, reducing false positives while increasing fraud capture
- Leverage large-scale financial and identity data to continuously refine performance
Deliver at Scale
- Own end-to-end product delivery—from concept through commercialization
- Build solutions that operate in real time across channels and customer journeys
- Ensure solutions are modular and deployable across any financial institution, regardless of core provider
- Partner with go-to-market teams on pricing, packaging, and enablement
Collaborate Across a Global Ecosystem
- Serve as a key product partner to internal teams and external AI and fraud/identity partners
- Align strategy across platform, partner, and product teams
- Support strategic client conversations by articulating how FIS + its ecosystem delivers differentiated outcomes
What You Will Need
Product Leadership
- Experience managing complex enterprise or B2B products, ideally in fintech, fraud, or identity
- Proven ability to own strategy, execution, and measurable outcomes end-to-end
- Ability to operate across large, matrixed organizations and partner ecosystems
Fraud & Identity Expertise
- Strong understanding of fraud typologies (ATO, identity fraud, scams, payments fraud)
- Familiarity with identity verification and risk signal providers (experience with Socure, Sardine, or similar platforms is a strong plus)
- Ability to translate evolving threats into data-driven product decisions
Data, AI & Analytical Thinking
- Experience using data, experimentation, and KPIs to drive prioritization and performance
- Familiarity with AI/ML and agent-based systems in production environments
- Experience evaluating build vs. buy vs. partner strategies
Communication & Influence
- Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts across technical, business, and client audiences
- Experience working with clients, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong ability to influence without authority and drive alignment
Why This Role Stands Out
- Unmatched Data Advantage: Work with one of the largest financial and identity data ecosystems in the world
- Ecosystem Leadership: Shape how FIS partners with best-in-class providers like Socure and Sardine to deliver a unified fraud and identity stack
- AI at the Frontier: Help define how agent-based AI (in partnership with Anthropic) operates in real-time financial systems
- Platform Without Limits: Build solutions that any bank can use—whether or not they run on FIS core
- Category Shift: Lead the transition from fragmented controls to continuous, intelligent trust systems
