As the Director, you will lead the strategy and roadmap for ensuring a fast, performant, reliable, and well architected infrastructure for the Gemini App. As a Director and a senior product management leader of this space, you will lead decision-making, drive clarity with your communication, and inspire a wide range of engineering and product teams teams. You will be responsible for outlining and supporting the release process responsible for safely and quickly shipping Gemini App across Web, iOS, and Android.

To make Gemini App an amazing AI assistant, we will build and maintain modern codebases, ensure exceptional app quality and performance, and achieve industry-leading release speed and stability. You will own these responsibilities in collaboration with the best product and engineering leaders. You will build and lead a global team of excellent engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $352,000-$392,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in product management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with engineering organizations in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Experience leading technical product roadmaps within mobile or app platform ecosystems.
  • Experience bridging infrastructure teams with unique product areas to move from development to reliable production.
  • Understanding of how the levers for a performant and reliable product can be most impactfully pulled to drive growth and adoption.
  • Ability to build collaborative and high-accountability team cultures that attract talent.
