Product Manager II, Camera and Photos, XR Apps

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As the Camera and Photos XR Apps Product Manager, you will lead first-person capture and media experiences across Google’s XR devices. You will define how users capture, relive, and share their world through heads-up and hands-free interactions. This role is part of the XR Apps team responsible for building the core applications that define why users put on an XR device every day, enable users to get value from XR devices, and shape the next-generation immersive computing platform for Google.

lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building or shipping camera, photos, or media-related products.
- Experience in camera systems, high-fidelity imaging, or media pipelines across multiple device form factors.
- Experience building products that leverage computer vision, machine learning, or AI-driven media technologies.
- Experience delivering zero-to-one products and technologies (i.e., new technology introduction) and developing consumer electronics hardware products.
- Familiarity with XR, ambient computing, or wearable devices.
