At Collective Health, we’re transforming how employers and their people engage with their health benefits by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, compassionate service, and world-class user experience design.
Collective Health's mission is to transform people's healthcare experience from confusing and complicated to empowering and trustworthy. Our goal is to provide the most configurable, reliable, and easy-to-use benefits administration experience for our customers. As part of our TPA business, our product team is building scalable data and analytics solutions that enable payers, providers, employers, and members to access reliable insights and take action with confidence.
As a Product Manager (PM), Data & Analytics, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core data products that power Collective Health's TPA operations. You'll partner closely with data engineering and analytics teams to design and scale data pipelines, reporting systems, and quality monitoring infrastructure — while serving as the primary product voice for internal and external data consumers.
What you'll do:
- Own the roadmap for one or more data product domains (e.g., claims reporting, eligibility, compliance data delivery), balancing short-term operational needs with long-term scalability and outcomes.
- Lead discovery with stakeholders — including operations, client success, and external clients — to define and prioritize requirements for data pipelines, schemas, and reporting products.
- Translate complex business, compliance, and operational needs into well-scoped data product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retros) and manage the backlog for data engineering and analytics teams.
- Define and track product metrics to measure quality, timeliness, and adoption of data products post-launch.
- Conduct data exploration using SQL and BI tools to validate requirements, triage issues, and support product decisions.
- Serve as the escalation point for data quality and pipeline issues; coordinate resolution across engineering and ops partners.
- Build and maintain documentation — data dictionaries, workflow specs, requirement docs — that enable team scale and stakeholder trust.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, data, healthcare, or a technology-related field.
- 4+ years of experience in product management, analytics, or healthcare technology.
- Proven track record owning and delivering data products or analytics platforms end to end.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery and Jira; able to independently run sprint ceremonies.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one BI/analytics platform (Looker, Sigma, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data concepts — claims (837p/837i), eligibility, COB, or compliance data preferred.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to technical teams, operations leaders, and client-facing stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and competing priorities.
