Senior Manager – Program Manager
You Are:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Program Manager to both lead delivery excellence within direct client delivery and drive operational improvements across our federal operations portfolio. This role will start as Deputy Program Manager or an equivalently important role with a path to continued career growth for high performers. Beyond client delivery, you will play a key role in growing our Operations business by qualifying and pursuing new opportunities while standardizing delivery practices across Accenture Federal's operations programs.
The Work:
Program Leadership
- Serve as an executive within direct client delivery, working closely with the Program Manager and other team members to deliver program objectives and client commitments
- Analyze team capacity, resource allocation, throughput, timeliness and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improved efficiency
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate delivery timelines
- Partner with technical and delivery teams to implement process improvements and operational excellence
- Position for promotion to Program Manager based on performance and impact
Business Development & Growth
- Support qualification and pursuit activities for new Operations opportunities within the federal space
- Contribute to proposal development, orals preparation, and client relationship building
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing clients and adjacent market segments
- Collaborate with Business Development teams to position Accenture Federal Services' Operations capabilities
Delivery Excellence & Standardization
- Drive delivery improvements and best practice sharing across Accenture Federal's operations programs
- Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and methodologies to improve consistency and quality
- Lead cross-program initiatives to build reusable assets and accelerate delivery
- Mentor delivery teams and contribute to capability building across the Operations practice
Here's What You Need:
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience with 5+ years in program/project management
- Proven track record delivering large-scale operations or IT programs in complex environments
- Experience leading teams and driving process improvement or automation initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Bonus Points If:
- Federal government contracting experience
- Experience with automation tools and technologies (RPA, AI/ML, workflow automation)
- PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications
- Background in business development or proposal support

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
