As Program Manager, Talent Management , you will join a passionate and dynamic Global Talent Management & People Strategy Team, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling core talent management programs.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work.

As the Program Manager, Talent Management you will look after programs that accelerate the growth of our talent, drive culture and engagement, and align to the business strategy, globally and regionally. Your portfolio will include performance management, talent and succession planning, careers, and workforce planning.

If you were the Program Manager, Talent Management now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Talent & Succession Planning
    • Defining and managing the process to identify and differentiate high-potential talent, and track their development
    • Creating and maintaining succession plans for critical roles, and track development of successors
    • Partnering with BPs to activate individualized development opportunities, such as executive education or coaching
    • Analyzing data to identify talent trends, risks, and opportunities, and use insights to make recommendations
    • In partnership with People Analytics, building dashboards or scorecards to track program effectiveness
    • Performance Management
      • Defining and overseeing the performance management cycle – from goal setting to calibration – for global Arc’teryx employees, including office, retail, and factory employees
      • Improving processes to drive clarity, accountability, and fairness
      • Implementing tools and training for managers to improve the quality of performance conversations, in partnership with teams across P&C
      • Employee Career Growth & Development
        • Partnering with SMEs to build success profiles and competency / skills frameworks
        • Setting standards for development planning, ensuring applicability and adaptability across a variety of employee populations
        • Developing and operationalize an ecosystem that enables career growth & development, through partnerships across P&C and the business
        • Workforce Planning
          • Partnering with P&C BPs and leadership to assess organizational capability gaps and develop a plan to close those gaps
          • Serving as an SME and advisor on workforce planning initiatives, including skills assessments and succession planning
          • Benchmarking against industry trends and best practices
          • Introducing innovative talent practices (skills-based talent models, AI-enabled tools, agile development frameworks)
          • Continuously evolving programs to improve employee experience and business impact
          • Fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and evolution:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in talent management or related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills (PM credentials a plus)
  • Skilled at building executive ready decks and briefs
  • Experience in managing core talent management processes a plus
  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of HRIS and talent management technologies, and related emerging tech, a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Compensation

    The salary range for this role is CAD$94,000–CAD$124,000
