Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products in accordance with approved procedures and sampling plans
Utilize measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators) to verify conformance to specifications
Accurately document inspection and test results in applicable quality systems and records
Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials; initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required
Execute basic testing activities in accordance with established work instructions and methods
Support investigations (e.g., OOS/OOT) and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
Maintain laboratory/work area organization and ensure proper handling of equipment and samples
Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality systems (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO)
Maintain required training, certifications, and ensure audit readiness (FDA, internal, and corporate audits)
Support new product introductions, process improvements, and capacity expansion initiatives
Contribute to EH&S objectives and overall plant safety performance
Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment, preferably within a medical device or other regulated industry
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
Demonstrated ability to use inspection and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
