Job Description & Summary

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance best practices. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing and implementing robust testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various products and projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools.
• Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support on best practices and testing techniques.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools; work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Continuously improve test automation coverage and efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging QA trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in the QA process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Proficient in manual and automated testing techniques.
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or others.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build processes.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI is desirable.
