Role Purpose
Drive sustainable growth of the Vaccines portfolio in the public sector by leading a high-performing sales team, shaping customer engagement strategies, and ensuring strong execution across national immunization priorities, institutional accounts, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Sales Leadership
Deliver public sector sales targets (revenue, volume, and market share) in line with business objectives.
Translate business strategy into clear territory plans, KPIs, and execution priorities for the sales team.
Ensure disciplined execution of sales plans with strong performance tracking and accountability mechanisms.
Drive accurate forecasting, demand planning, and financial management (sales, ROI).
2. Team Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building
Build, lead, and sustain a high-performing, diverse sales team aligned with our company's Ways of Working and leadership expectations.
Act as a true coach in the field, dedicating structured time to joint visits, observation, and real-time feedback to elevate individual performance.
Implement individualized development plans for each team member with clear capability goals, timelines, and measurable progress tracking.
Drive excellence in core field capabilities including account planning, stakeholder engagement, strategic selling, and value communication.
Establish a strong performance management culture, ensuring clear objectives, continuous feedback, and differentiated performance outcomes.
Identify high-potential talent and actively build a robust succession pipeline for critical roles within the organization.
Lead regular capability reviews and team performance discussions, using data and insights to identify gaps and implement targeted development interventions.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and growth mindset, enabling team members to take initiative and continuously improve.
Create a learning organization environment by promoting knowledge sharing, best practice exchange, and peer-to-peer coaching across the team.
Ensure strong engagement and retention through recognition, career development opportunities, and a motivating team environment.
3. Public Sector & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and sustain strong partnerships with key public stakeholders (MOH, government institutions, public healthcare providers).
Drive strategic account management across key public customers and vaccination programs.
Support engagement in national immunization initiatives, campaigns, and public health programs.
Ensure alignment with national health priorities and evolving policy landscape.
4. Execution Excellence & Operations
Ensure high-quality execution of all field activities in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Monitor and optimize field force effectiveness using data, insights, and CRM tools.
Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure continuous business delivery.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams (Medical, Market Access, Supply Chain, Marketing).
5. Market & Business Insights
Continuously analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
Identify growth opportunities (market expansion, penetration, new accounts, demand generation).
Provide actionable insights to inform strategy, planning, and resource allocation.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the primary interface between Sales and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
Contribute to integrated brand and customer strategies.
Support launch readiness and execution of new vaccines in the public sector.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.
Minimum 5–7 years of pharmaceutical experience with a strong track record in sales.
Prior people management experience is preferred.
Experience in vaccines and/or public sector is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel (~50%) across the Kingdom.
High level of integrity and compliance mindset.
